Documentation required to issue the ticket

In order to issue the ticket, certain personal information or the Taxpayer Identification Number (R.U.C.) of each passenger will be required. Please also specify if you need a printed copy of the ticket. The ticket acts as an invoice, which is accepted by the Internal Revenue Service, Ecuador's tax management agency.

If a R.U.C. number is provided, no personal ID information will be required to issue the ticket.
A passenger under the age of two (2) can use the personal ID of one of his/her parents.
If you need a printed copy of your ticket receipt, it will be available free of charge only if you pick it up before travel begins. Otherwise, we will need to issue a certificate for which you will be charged $25.00 USD plus VAT.
If you currently don't have access to the passenger's personal ID information, you may continue with the reservation process. Immediately after completing your purchase, you should contact AA Reservations in Ecuador at 299-5000 (Quito), 259-8800 (Guayaquil) to provide the passenger's personal ID information and reservation code.
